About Us
German kitchens, designed by people who care
A Preston showroom, two decades of experience, and a simple belief: a premium kitchen should not come with a premium-priced sales pitch.
Our Story
From Prestons For Less to KuhinjaHaus
For years, our team designed and installed German kitchens across the North West under the Prestons For Less Kitchens franchise, earning a wall of five-star reviews and a loyal following along the way.
In June 2026, founder Dal Becic made the decision to part ways with the franchise and continue under his own name: KuhinjaHaus. Same designer. Same fitters. Same obsession with getting it right. Just a fresh name, and the freedom to do things exactly the way we believe they should be done.
Dal has spent over 20 years in German kitchens, including time working directly with Nobilia, one of Europe's largest and most respected kitchen manufacturers. That experience is why our designs make the most of every millimetre, and why the finished kitchens look as good in ten years as they do on day one.
What we stand for
The KuhinjaHaus difference
Honest advice
No hard sell, no pressure and no selling you things you do not need. If something is not right for you, we will say so.
Design-led
Every kitchen starts with a proper design, tailored to your room and the way you actually live and cook.
Built to last
Genuine Nobilia units, rigid-built in Germany, the quality is in the carcase, not just the doors.
One team, start to finish
From first sketch to the final adjustment, you deal with people who care about the result.
Why German, why Nobilia
The quality you can feel
Nobilia is engineered in Germany to a standard the flat-pack high-street brands simply cannot match. Units arrive rigid-built, fully assembled, square and solid, not as a stack of panels for someone to bolt together on your kitchen floor.
Soft-close drawers run on precision runners rated for years of daily use. Carcases are thicker, hinges are stronger, and the finishes, from super-matt lacquers to realistic wood grains, are designed to shrug off the realities of family life.
Because we keep our overheads low and deal with you directly, you get that German quality at a price that genuinely competes with, and often beats, the national showrooms.
Trusted across the North West
Two decades of five-star reviews
Real reviews from real North West kitchens. The same team, the same standards, every single job.
Working with Dal and Waldek was an absolute pleasure from start to finish. Their creativity, professionalism and attention to detail transformed our kitchen into a stunning, functional space that has truly become the heart of our home. The design was both beautiful and practical, making excellent use of the space while incorporating high-quality materials and finishes. Installation by Waldek was seamless, punctual, tidy and done with precision. The result is a kitchen that not only looks incredible but works perfectly for our lifestyle. If you're looking for a kitchen designer and installer who combine talent, integrity and genuine passion, look no further. Highly recommended!
Just completed a kitchen/diner conversion for us. Really positive experience and end result. The design that Dal came up with made best use of the space available to us, two other companies we had discussions with didn't spot the design option that has proved so effective. Also really impressed with Val the kitchen installer and builder, great job done in all respects. The price for the kitchen/diner and all the considerable work carried out was also competitive. Couldn't be happier with the outcome!
We were very pleased with the kitchen design that Dal produced. The fitter was a very hard working man doing everything including the electrics and plumbing. The kitchen looks very nice and we are very happy with it. T & D Wilson.
No pressure. No jargon. No surprise costs.
